A Jack of all Trades. A Master at Many.

(Note: I wrote this June 2017 sitting on my balcony at my getaway spot near the ocean. This is when I started to awaken and healing began. Peace, Love and Light.)

Hello Lovelies,

If you’re reading this, just know that I freaking love you and you’re freaking amazing. Some of you may know me personally as Meagan or Meg but I go by Chef M. I chef up healthy delicious meal preps every Sunday that gives you life along with a snatched ass waist line. I ditched my 9-5 and replaced it with my side hustle…cooking. Yes honey! I literally walked out of my job and said fuck it I’m quit! Now I’m becoming the person that God has destined me to be. And yes I curse because God knows my heart so beat it! Any who moving right along…

I remember when I was little riding in my parents’ car through Lake County, Illinois and just seeing all of these huge homes that were absolutely gorgeous. And I remember thinking to myself, “I’m going to own my business.” Those homes were my motivation and I saw myself owning not one but several of them. At 8 years old I was thinking big. Why the hell not? Anything is possible. However, I didn’t know shit about life or what it would take to be a successful entrepreneur. Hell I didn’t even know what type of business I wanted to own. I just knew I wasn’t working for anybody but Meagan Collins. That was a fact.

Now at 29 years old, I own a home and I have a cooking business that’s growing. Great right? I’m truly blessed and thankful. Cooking has always been a passion of mine. It’s my artwork. It’s my therapy session. It’s what makes me MEGnificent. After a year of experimenting and performing research on how I want to build my brand I have come to the conclusion that “Chef M” was the vision. Chef M. is not just a personal chef who makes bomb ass meal preps while listening to trap music on snap chat. Chef M. was all of me. That includes the good, the bad, and the ratchet sophistication that makes me the beautiful queen that I am.

Society is always telling us we must choose a profession or a title when we grow up. Well guess what society? Screw you! I’m doing things my way. Cooking is just one avenue for me. It’s not my end all be all. It’s not the only business venture that I see myself doing for the rest of my life. I’m a mogul in the making and I’m taking all of you with me on this journey. You’ll learn more about me, my businesses, food, fashion, and travel. I’ll even throw in some motivational quotes because we all need that push sometimes to get us through. Nevertheless I’m a woman of many talents and I just to share it with the world.
